The Government of Independent Tatarstan in exile, represented by Prime Minister Rafis Kashapov and our entire team, sincerely congratulates the Chechen people — the Ichkerians — on the third anniversary of the historic resolution adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recognizing the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation.
We wholeheartedly support this important step and express our full solidarity with the brotherly Chechen people — the Ichkerians — who continue to bravely fight for their freedom and national dignity.
The Government of Independent Tatarstan in exile also expresses its hope that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will soon consider and adopt draft law No. 8195 of November 9, 2022, on the recognition of the state sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Tatarstan.
We believe that in the future, a free Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and an independent Republic of Tatarstan will become reliable partners, allies, and friends — united by common values of freedom, democracy, and mutual respect.
We wish Ukraine a swift victory, and to our brotherly peoples of Tatarstan and Ichkeria — a peaceful path toward independence and prosperity.
