The Government of Independent Tatarstan on Zelenskyy’s historic meetings in the UK and the US
UK: British Prime Minister Andy Burnham to Zelenskyy: “You are the first leader I’ve met in person since taking office, and that’s no coincidence. We want to send a very clear message: we stand with Ukraine 100%. I will fully fulfill every commitment this country has made to Ukraine. We know your fight is vital to our security. But it’s also something we feel in our guts. In this country, we don’t like injustice. We don’t like seeing innocent people suffer. That’s why we stand with you. The whole country stands with you.”
US: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed licensing the production of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense missile system at a meeting with his US counterpart, Donald Trump. Zelenskyy met with Trump at the White House, and US senators agreed on new sanctions against Russia. Zelenskyy
also expressed condolences to Donald Trump over the death of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (an individual designated by Russia as a terrorist and extremist). Zelenskyy called Congressman Lindsey Graham a true friend of Ukraine.
The government of independent Tatarstan in exile welcomes the historic meetings held in the UK by Volodymyr Zelenskyy with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham and US President Donald Trump. This is a crucial moment for us: we fight for the freedom of our peoples and, while working in these countries to decolonize the Russian Empire, we also hold meetings and events.
It is no coincidence that the following organizations have been included on the list of “terrorist” organizations in Russia: the Forum of Free Peoples of Post-Russia, the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations, Free Idel-Ural, the government of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (ChRI) in exile, the government of independent Tatarstan in exile, and other organizations.
