Aida Abdrakhmanova, a member of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile, presented the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of Sweden Linas Linkevičius with a “Letter of Gratitude from the Lithuanian Functional Sports Federation and Kornelija Dudaite” for his commitment to the principles of sports on behalf of the Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile and Prime Minister Rafis Kashapov. Let us recall that in December 2024, at the World Functional Fitness Championships, Lithuanian athlete Kornelija Dudaite, in protest against the organizers of the ongoing championship ignoring the symbols of the aggressor country on the T-shirts of Russian athletes and in violation of the restrictions of the neutral flag policy, wore a T-shirt “Make Russia small again!” (let’s make Russia small again) . In October, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appeared in public wearing the same T-shirt. The Government of Independent Tatarstan in Exile thanks Lithuania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Lithuanian Functional Sports Federation, in particular, Lithuanian athlete Kornelija Dudaite , for their courageous civic position and adherence to the principles of the “neutrality policy” in sports. This seemingly symbolic sign from the Lithuanian athlete means great support in this difficult time of the political struggle of the peoples enslaved by Muscovy for their real independence and freedom from the centuries-old occupation of the Russian Empire!
